1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using GrappleKit ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App.

GrappleKit is operated by FLOWPRIMO LLC ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms govern your use of the App and any related services.

2. Description of Service

GrappleKit is a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu training companion app that provides:

  • Curated BJJ instructional video feed from YouTube channels
  • Technique browser with progress tracking
  • Training journal with photo/video attachments
  • Configurable round timer with music integration
  • Coach dashboard for schedule and lesson management (Coach tier)
  • Mobility and strength training content

3. Subscriptions and Payments

3.1 Subscription Tiers

GrappleKit offers the following subscription options:

  • Free: Basic features including video feed, technique browsing, and channel management
  • Premium: Full access to journal, timer, progress tracking, playlists, and advanced journeys
  • Premium + Coach: All Premium features plus coach dashboard, schedule management, and PDF export

3.2 Free Trial

GrappleKit may offer a free trial period for Premium features. At the end of the trial period, your subscription will not automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you explicitly purchase one.

3.3 Billing and Renewal

  • Subscriptions are billed through your Apple ID account via the App Store
  • Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current billing period
  • Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period
  • You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your iOS Settings under Subscriptions

3.4 Refunds

All purchases are processed by Apple. Refund requests must be directed to Apple through their standard refund process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

4. User Responsibilities

By using GrappleKit, you agree to:

  • Use the App only for its intended purpose as a training companion
  • Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App
  • Not use the App for any unlawful purpose
  • Not redistribute or commercially exploit the App's content
  • Maintain the security of your device and any data stored by the App

5. Martial Arts Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and other martial arts involve inherent risks of physical injury.

GrappleKit is a digital training companion and informational tool only. The App does not replace professional instruction. By using GrappleKit, you acknowledge and agree that:

  • You participate in martial arts training at your own risk
  • You should always train under qualified supervision
  • You should consult a physician before beginning any training program
  • FLOWPRIMO LLC is not liable for any injuries sustained during training, regardless of whether the training was inspired by, planned with, or tracked using GrappleKit
  • Video content displayed in the App is provided by third-party YouTube channels and does not constitute professional advice from FLOWPRIMO LLC

6. Intellectual Property

The GrappleKit App, including its design, code, graphics, and user interface, is the intellectual property of FLOWPRIMO LLC and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Video content displayed within the App is owned by the respective YouTube channel creators. GrappleKit displays this content through YouTube's embed player in accordance with YouTube's Terms of Service.

7. Third-Party Services

GrappleKit integrates with third-party services subject to their own terms:

We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or content of third-party services.

8. Data and Content

All personal data (journal entries, progress, preferences) is stored locally on your device. You are responsible for backing up your device. Uninstalling the App will permanently delete all locally stored data.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, FLOWPRIMO LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, personal injury, or property damage arising from your use of or inability to use the App.

Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

GrappleKit is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend access to the App at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties.

You may terminate your use of the App at any time by uninstalling it and cancelling any active subscriptions through iOS Settings.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Austria, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Austria.

13. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
